Well the Fantasy Football season ended a week ago, but I wanted to wait until all the stat corrections were in before champions were declared.In a very close game the Svinksland Pillagers beat the Kreplachistan Rebels 38 to 34 to win the 7th Pirate Islands Fantasy Football Championship. If you had stat-tracker pulled up during the game you know how close this game was, it ended up tied after Monday Night Football but a forced fumble by Kevin Boss gave the Pillagers a win (the points were awarded after the games were over). Congratulations to the Pillagers for their long awaited first Championship.
The PIML championship game pit the two favorites against one another. In the end the Tea Republic Boilers beat out the Battle Cove Coasters 49 to 29 to win the first Pirate Islands Minor League Championship.
